Who We Are: Carson Reclamation Authority (CRA)
The Carson Reclamation Authority (CRA) is a joint powers authority that was formed in 2015 for the purpose of acquiring this site.
The role of the CRA is to take title to the Cal Compact Landfill Site, fulfill some of the oversight responsibility for the remediation and vertical redevelopment process of the 157-acre former landfill that was previously performed by the Carson Redevelopment Agency, which was dissolved by State law in 2012.

RES is a real estate development and advisory firm with extensive experience in the redevelopment of brownfield projects in the United States.
RES specializes in the acquisition and reuse of challenging urban infill property and the management of environmental liability. RES is the horizontal master developer of the Cal Compact Landfill Site, and is responsible for managing the design and construction of the remedial systems, the design and installation of public improvements, and the construction of foundations for the future developers
